All eligible candidates considering an application for a certificate of registration under the following registration policies should review information relating to practice assessment:
- Pathway A or B,
- Acceptable Qualifying Examinations, or
- Alternative to the MCCQE 2 examination.
Issuance of a certificate of registration is conditional on the candidate agreeing to undergo a period of supervised practice, followed by satisfactory completion of an on-site practice assessment organized by the College.
The candidate must follow any practice recommendations arising from the assessment. All costs associated with the practice assessment are borne by the applicant.
Additional details, including information about the restricted certificate issued following a successful practice assessment, are available in the Registration Practice Assessment – Frequently Asked Questions.
