- Essentials for Practice Improvement for Ontario Physicians, University of Ottawa
This uOttawa program provides physicians with a practical approach to develop SMART goals within a quality improvement framework. In addition to online didactic learning, there are smaller group sessions facilitated by experts to help learners identify areas for improvement, goals, and how to implement change ideas. The Centre for Quality, Innovation and Safety (CQUINS) offers Fundamentals of Quality Improvement Execution, a self-study, asynchronous online course for individuals with an interest in QI, but limited time or bandwidth. The course will walk you step-by-step through the QI project process from start to finish and provide tools, templates and concrete actions required for you to successfully complete a quality improvement project.
