Our Quality Assurance (QA) program offers two educational options for physicians to meet their Quality requirements on a 5-year cycle.
Physicians age 70–79 may participate in either a Quality Improvement (QI) Enhanced program or a QA Peer and Practice assessment to meet their Quality requirements. Physicians age 80 and above meet their Quality requirements through participation in a QA Peer and Practice assessment. All physicians have the opportunity to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
QI Enhanced Program – Two QI Enhanced program options are available to physicians based on practice setting. These programs offer structured and supportive QI activities with a focus on self-reflection and flexible learning.
QA Peer and Practice Assessment – A trained peer assessor reviews patient records and provides feedback to support continuous learning and identify opportunities for improvement in patient care. This Quality program is an option available for any registrant to meet their Quality requirements.
